Central Secretariat at Imperial College London was established to service and monitor the principal governance and management committees, advise on legislative issues, and ensure the effective management of the College's corporate records.
The Human Resources Division at Imperial College London was established to ensure that the College gets the best possible return from its staff. This includes supporting departments in all aspects of staff management and providing processing services.
The College Archives of Imperial College London was established in 1956 with the appointment of the first archivist in 1957. Prior to the establishment of the archives, a muniment room was established in 1937 to gather materials relating to the history of College. The muniment room was set up the Records Committee which had been established in 1934 to organise the collection of college records.
